Diane Jacobs graduated from physio school in 1971. She worked in hospitals for several years, studied manual therapy in the 80’s, opened a solo practice in the early 90’s. In 1998 she learned about neurodynamics. In 2007 she did a cutaneous nerve dissection and developed an entire structured approach she called DermoNeuroModulating. She published a book by the same name in 2016. Before retiring in 2020 she traveled widely and taught DNM around the world. DNM is not trademarked; it is licensed with Creative Commons. This means that anyone may use the name or teach DNM, but no one can own it or make a modality empire with it. She hopes this will allow DNM to move freely and inform all.
